Baby Shower Cake

This one is for a baby shower today.

Mario cake - second attempt

The boy I did this one for was adorable and had very specific ideas about it (which I love!) For instance, he wanted Mario on top kicking the mushroom looking guy. I guess that is how you get rid of him in the game. I am glad he wanted that because it ended up being my favorite part. *grin*

Hunting cake

This was a last minute addition to my weekend o' cakes, so I didn't get to spend as much time as I would have liked to in order to create the whole forrest effect. But I had a lot of fun with it anyway.

Transformers Optimus Prime cake

Transformers cake - the cake is supposed to be the "all spark" they are looking for in the movie. The plaque on the side is Optimus Prime and the plaque on the top is the Autobot sign. Everything is out of fondant and completely edible.

Hello Kitty

Hello Kitty cake - This is for my dear friend who just lost her little sister. I wanted to do something to cheer her up. I hope it helps. When we were teenagers, our favorite thing to do was go to the mall and she always loved the Hello Kitty store.

Mario cake

This was a last minute cake. I decided that I could squeeze it in this way if we kept it small and more simple this time. I still like the way it turned out even though I kept it to one tier. Again, fun! I love my job

Jungle cake

Jungle cake - This was such a fun cake for me!! I know I say that a lot, but this one was not stressful, I just got to enjoy putting together the animals and I designed it completely new. The "idea" came from my head and not from a cake I saw, so I didn't have to try and make it look like anything. It was a nice break. Loved it! It also had a little smash cake for a 1 year old that went with it.

Girl Scooby Doo cake

Girl Scooby Doo cake - This one was cream cheese icing with fondant plaques. Unfortunately, the picture is kind of blurry and doesn't do it justice, guess I need a new camera! *grin*

Dragon castle

Dragon Castle - This was for a Dungeons and Dragons party. The kids there were adorable and even gave me applause. I was so cute! That makes all the time spent SO worth it. The scales were cut out individually and painted gold. The dragon is rice krispie treats and the rest is lemon cake.
