(I actually do have some photos but they'll probably come up with the second test run...)

I'll let ya know in a comment later on. Currently we have seven and a half weeks to have it completely perfect and beautiful. :)Introvert, Introvert spread your wings and soar.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06116569337447737851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5758142364475911809.post-86112264579923638022010-04-16T19:11:11.600-06:002010-04-16T19:11:11.600-06:00Sarah, I dowled a base between the head and the bo...Sarah, I dowled a base between the head and the body.
Shadow, I am so the wrong person to ask. :) I am really new at sculpting and don't have any idea how you would do that. I know that a lot of people build a pvc pipe figure on a wooden base when they want to do things like that, but honestly, I have no idea how. I am completely self taught and am afraid I am a bit of a novice myself, but let me know when you finish. I would love to see pics. Good luck!Jen Vesperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16930962157830356051noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5758142364475911809.post-68334165673103553872010-04-13T10:06:36.430-06:002010-04-13T10:06:36.430-06:00I have a question for you.

His hands need to be strong enough to hold a knife in one hand and a lantern in the other. I want them to be edible (Styrofoam is cheating!) What should we use?

We're going to try using rice krispy treats again but I'm not sure that it's going to be strong enough. Our first try was a four layer cake 11inch round for the base and three 9inch round for the body with a huge krispy treat head. It was not proportionate to itself and it weighed about 15 pounds. We loved the shoes, but now we need to love the cake. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Shadow.Introvert, Introvert spread your wings and soar.https://www.blogger.com/profile/06116569337447737851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5758142364475911809.post-52980138110062488962010-04-12T05:16:31.816-06:002010-04-12T05:16:31.816-06:00This is awesome! Do you dowl a base in between or is at all cake stacked on cake (and RC treats)?Sarahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15632133395774757339noreply@blogger.com
