Weber State University retirement cake - This was a cake for my mom who worked at the University for 22 years. Top was spice, middle was lemon and bottom was chocolate. The wildcat on top is their mascot and is hand carved fondant. The words on the top layer list all the departments she has worked for on campus.

Stan and Chewy cake
Stan and Chewy cake - Meet Stan and Chewy. Two best friends loved by an adorable little girl named Marie. Stan is spice cake and Chewy is french vanilla. I love doing cakes like this that have so much personality and sentimental value. Thanks for asking me to do this one Amy!!

Pirate Ship cake
Pirate Ship cake - I have done so many of these that I wasn't going to post this one, but it was just enough different, I decided to post anyway. The carving on these is finally getting easier.
Small Dinosaur cake
Small Dinosaur cake - I don't generally do cakes this small because they take me just as long as the big cakes, so I have to charge almost the same, but this was for a friend who wasn't going to be home to store any leftovers. I really love doing dinosaurs. I was a huge dino fanatic as a little girl, so it is just fun for me. This cake was also for a little girl, which just made me grin.

Brown T-Rex cake
Brown T-Rex cake - I have so much fun with these dinosaur cakes. I think they are my favorite thing that I do. I usually make the head out of rice krispie treats, because I was new at carving, but this one was made entirely out of chocolate cake.
Princess Castle
Princess Castle cake - This one was strawberry cake with vanilla filling. I did use a plastic figure on this one. I hate doing that when I know I could do a fabulous fondant one, but I have to be super careful with trademark issues if it is not for family or friends. I still like it anyway. ;) I just feel like using plastic toys is cheating.
