Rock Band Drum Set Groom's cake - This one was fun for me because I hadn't done anything like it before and because the groom's mom is so much fun to plan with. :) She thought it would be cute to combine his love for Rock Band and his love for paint ball by making the drum sticks paint ball guns. What a fun idea. :)

Black and White Hawaiian cake - This one was for my cute friend Melanie who married her grade school sweetheart. Peanut butter chocolate cake on the bottom with chocolate filling and peanut butter icing, lemon cake with raspberry cream cheese filling in the middle and french vanilla with raspberry filling on the top. Yummo!

Royal Calla Lillies cake - I was so excited about how this one turned out. Not only do I adore the couple, but it was such a fun cake to do. I almost added a fifth tier at the last minute because I was having so much fun. It was a little stressful getting it there since the coordinator freaked me out and told me it started at 6 not 7 (which wasn't correct ugghh), but it was beautiful there. Kendra even got chased in by a peacock while carrying in the last tier. LOL

Build-A-Bear Wolfie cake - This cake was for my daughter. She wanted strawberry cake, same as always, and she wanted it to look like her stuffed Wolf, "Wolfie". She just got new pink polka dot bows for "Wolfie" so I decided to incorporate that in.

Blue House Cake - This one was for a dear friend of mine who just had a birthday and moved into a new place so it was a house warming/birthday cake.

Relay for Life

Time for another reminder...we haven't reached our goal yet for Relay For Life! There are so many loved ones fighting the good fight right now and too many we have already lost. Even $5 helps...seriously! You can also buy Luminaria for $10 in the name of someone you love who is fighting or has lost their battle. THANKS!!!!

The above picture is one we took just this last Halloween when she was first diagnosed and by January she was already gone. If I had known how personally this disease would affect my life, I would have donated long ago. That is the point here. You never know until it is too late and then you wish the cure had already been found.
