Tigger cake

Tigger cake - This was a very last minute cake for a one year old boy and I didn't have a lot of time to make it as perfect as I wanted, but I hope they liked it. :) It was spice cake with cream cheese icing, the tail was rice cereal treats.

Winnie the Pooh "Pooh Sticks" cake

Winnie the Pooh "Pooh Sticks" cake - This was for a friend of mine. Her little girl specifically wanted the "Pooh sticks" scene. I always get so nervous to do such iconic characters, but I really have a good time with them. The cake was banana sour cream cake with cream cheese icing.

Bamboo Scroll Wedding cake

Bamboo Scroll Wedding cake - This bride sent me photos of what her table settings were going to look like and I created a cake to match. I really love doing cakes this way. The reception was at the Union Station in Ogden and was a rustic, beautiful setting for this cake.

Owl Baby Shower Cookies

Owl Baby Shower Cookies - My son's teacher asked me to make her some cookies for a baby shower. She told me just to do whatever and I had just seen the most adorable owl cookies online. So I decided that's what I would do. I have loved doing all these cookies lately. :)

Sports Themed Cookie Bouquet

Sports Themed Cookie Bouquet - So my friend contacted me on Facebook and told me that she had been looking into cookie bouquets and had discovered that they were crazy expensive. She asked if I had ever thought about doing them. I have, but have never had the time or reason to try it. So I decided this was as good a time to try as any. It was not perfect, but I learned a lot and can't wait to do another one some day.

Happy "Bee" Day cake

Happy "Bee" Day cake - This one was for a 40th birthday. I actually made it on my own birthday. :) It is amazing how many people I discovered share my day. Each year I get at least a couple requests on this day.

School Craft Fair Halloween cookies

School Craft Fair Halloween cookies - I thought I had one more day to do these than I did, so they were super last minute cookies. :) Because of that, I only remembered to photograph half of them as actual cookies and have no pictures of them in their finished, wrapped up state. But I thought I would at least post what I have.

Elsa Paris cake

Elsa Paris cake - This for for the cutest 60 year old lady. She is the mom of a friend of mine and I swear she still looks 30. She loves to travel the world, but Paris is her favorite. I am posting pictures of all sides because I had so much fun with these postcards. I really like when I get to hand draw all that stuff on. So much fun!

Gronckle cake

Gronkle cake - I was so stinking excited for this one all weekend! This is my favorite dragon on "How to Train your Dragon". I think he is hilarious. So when Sarah said, "he likes dragons, specifically the Gronckle", I knew this is what I wanted to do. Sculpted character cakes are my absolute favorite because they have so much personality. And this one in particular is much cuter in person. :) It is a mix of chocolate and lemon cakes.

Space Ranger Birthday cake

Space Ranger Birthday cake - This was for cute little Tyler who is two years old and could not stop saying "Buzz, Buzz, Buzz!" when he saw it. It was adorable. :)

Melissa Wedding Cake

Melissa Wedding Cake - This was a very last minute wedding cake, but I think we pulled it off. :) It was a beautiful location and the staff was so helpful! Thanks Ogden Golf and Country Club!

Xbox 360 Madden Avatar cake

Xbox 360 Madden Avatar cake - This was made for one of the funniest boys I know. :) He always plays Madden on the 360, loves Avatar (the cartoon Last Airbender variety) and is going to serve a mission for his church in Guatemala. So I tried to incorporate all that into this cake. It was a lot of fun.

Fiber Optic Cable Medusa Head cake

Fiber Optic Cable Medusa Head cake - Ok...so doing cakes for my hubby's work friends is always interesting. :) He came home and said, "It's Phil's birthday tomorrow....can you do a cake?" I said "Sure, what's he into?" He said, "I don't know. Phil doesn't really share much with the group. But he is our cable guy." My first thought was....Phil the Cable Guy...Git R Done cake...but Alan said that just didn't fit Phil. So my mind was spinning...maybe a little too fast...I have been watching a lot of mythology movies lately, Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief, Clash of the Titans, stuff like that. So suddenly I get this image in my head of a Medusa head with fiber cable instead of snakes. I giggled a little at the thought, then I giggled a lot. So I decided it had to be done. I decided I would do Phil in stone with cable hair.
He was a little unstable at first, so I kept putting him in the freezer to chill out and every time I would open the freezer for a minute and see him in there...I would laugh out loud. Man I had a fun night...

Airplane Shower cake

Airplane Shower cake - This was made to match the bedding and decor of the baby-to-be's new room. I was really excited for this one because the decor was so cute! I hope I did it justice. :)

University of Illinois cookies

University of Illinois cookies - These were made for a friend of my little sis that is a huge University of Illinois fan. The headdress cookie was a lot of fun, but I am glad I only had to do one. :) That was a tough one!
