Jabba the Hutt cake

Jabba the Hutt cake - This one was so fun for me. It was a family friend who is a mega Star Wars geek. Jabba is rice krispie, the barge is cake and Leia is a fondant figure.

Scooby Doo cake

Scooby Doo cake - I combined the things I liked best about my other two Scooby cakes and came up with a third. I have so much fun with these. I also made matching treats and a matching satellite cake, but I forgot to take pictures.

Stephanie wedding cake - Buttercream squares with pearl dragees and ribbon. It has been a long time since I have done an entire wedding cake out of only buttercream, so this one challenged me.

Kale Luau Cake

Kale Luau Cake - This is my second luau cake and I had so much fun with this one! My favorite part about it ended up being the totem and the tiki head, which were later additions because I thought the cake still needed something. This one had a matching smash cake for the one year old, but I forgot to snap a picture. The cake was french vanilla with raspberry cream cheese filling.

The Cake is a Lie

The Cake is a Lie cake - My son wanted his birthday cake fashioned after the video game, Portal. Apparently, in the game they bribe you to do things by promising a cake. So further in the game you start seeing writing on the wall that says, "The cake is a lie." Then at the end in the credits, you finally see this cake. Ethan thought that was a hilarious idea for a birthday cake. So I made this messy looking cake that looked like the cake in the game. All you Portal fans out there will have to tell me why this is all funny. *grin* But I got to try out my new "Costco" type chocolate mousse filling and it was a huge hit. Woohoo!
