Super-missionary treats

Super-missionary treats - I completely forgot to post this cute thing I did. This adorable mom on the west coast ordered these 'super-missionary' treats for her daughter's boyfriend who is serving an LDS mission in Iowa. How cute is that?!?

YOU ARE AN AMAZING CAKE ARTIST!!! Jeanene has shown me some of your work before and all I can say is, "WOW!"

Hi! & Thank you for your comments on my blog. After reading all 4 books in less than a week and seeing the movie I felt very analytical. I used to teach @ the University of Michigan-Flint and miss that higher education banter and examination--my reason for starting this portion of my blog.

These are awesome! Do you have a cookie cutter for the fondant or do you do these free hand?

Thanks Rebekah! Well, I did the first supergirl cakes (way back when) completely freehand. However, it is really tough to make them all look the same when you are doing cookies or rice cereal treats, so I went against my creed and made a template. I usually do it all by hand, but when you are doing things like this in mass, that gets a bit difficult. :) They are still all handcut one by one, no cookie cutter, but I do use a template now.
